"Thanks for the instructions for the Hide-A-Hose central vacuum remote. Our system is now working fine. I had to do the reprogramming mentioned at the end of the instructions...I had a similar problem with my car remote, and the dealer refused to provide the reprogramming instructions. He wanted to charge me several hundred dollars plus my time for making an appointment. Background
AirVac central vacuums are sold by Linear LLC. Linear purchased the AirVac central vacuum line in 2005.
M & S had sold central vacuums under the AirVac, M&S and Filtex brands. Filtex central vacuums were introduced in 1960. AirVac vacuum units are currently made in China.
